our take on lilo and stitch

Made this Lilo costume for Talia for last year’s Halloween party but she never got around to wearing it — she opted to wear the Minnie Mouse dress that I also made for her.

Talia found this costume while we were sorting through my fabrics and we were all surprised that it fits! Since she lost a lot of weight when she stopped drinking from the bottle, a lot of her old clothes can now be worn again.

So here’s my family’s version of Lilo and Stitch . . . Talia wanted me to make a costume for our dog Tirso so that he can also look like Stitch. Nooooo way, I’m too busy with client orders to make a costume for my dog!

She ended up wearing this for today while “assisting” me with my client fittings. She was a big hit with my clients hahaha!
