smart parenting feature – april 11, 2012

Smart Parenting had an article titled  24 Looks for Summer for the Preggy Mom and Kids and one of my dresses made it to the feature. Thanks so much to stylist KC Leyco!

Paisley print jersey dress with drop front opening for nursing and/or pumping

All dresses that I’ve made for expecting clients (including myself) can be worn not just during pregnancy but also after giving birth. It can also be worn during breastfeeding or pumping sessions since I put nursing openings if requested by the client.

I’ve been meaning to share some photos of myself wearing these types of dresses but lousy blogger that I am, I went through my photos only now. :D

This maxidress was originally a super long skirt I bought in Hongkong ages ago.

This was taken during the second quarter of my pregnancy.

Halter jersey dress with adjustable bust and straps.

Printed stretch tulle maxidress.

Printed stretch fabric maxidress.

Printed stretch tulle maxidress.

This isn’t a dress but I wanted to show this to you guys anyway. This used to be an old thrifted skirt that I converted into skorts which I wear even pre and post pregnancy. I used a bellyband (see that black tube thing on top of it) when I couldn’t close it already.

Jersey maxi dress with drop front opening for nursing. This was taken two weeks after giving birth when I went back to work to attend to a client getting married.

This was my “uniform” for the first few months after giving birth. Wore this to another wedding, this time with a beaded vest.

This was last year’s Christmas Eve, this time worn with a cardigan.

I’m overloading on photos of myself. I just realized that this blog post is like a diary of my outfits during and after my second pregnancy. Haha.
