a2w camo skirt on live, love, lolz
Karrots (L) wearing a skirt from our Art to Wear line, Talia (R) wearing a dress from our kids line
Vernon and I made something new for the Art to Wear (A2W) line! When Karrots of Live, Love, Lolz podcast requested for a camo skirt, instead of buying camo fabric, Vernon and I decided to make our own print.
nette in a2w
I love how my clients are asking for Art to Wear pieces until now. We can actually customize each dress since these aren’t mass produced.
business world high life feature
Thanks so much to stylist KC Leyco for including my dress in her editorial for the October – November 2011 issue of BusinessWorld High Life Magazine!
From my Art to Wear Collection
revisiting old collections
Sometimes I still can’t believe that I still get orders from old collections . . . take this dress, for example, from my first ever collection.
andrea torres on chika minute
Andrea Torres was one of Pia Guanio’s substitutes for 24 Oras’ Chika Minute and I must say that Andrea did a great job. Yes, not just because she was wearing one of my dresses in one of the episodes haha.
Andrea wore this dress a couple of days from one of my past collections. Thanks, Andrea!
una on pazette
Here’s one of my clients wearing my best seller from last year’s Art to Wear collection. Looking great, Pazette!
andrea torres on GMA’s lenten special “Maestra”
I was pleasantly suprised to hear that one of my favorite models, Ms. Andrea Torres, wore three of my dresses to her GMA Lenten Special “Maestra” which aired last Black Saturday! Thank God for the internet — I was able to view the show online last night and was able to get some screenshots.
maffy soler at TV5
Singer/model Maffy Soler has been making the rounds at TV5 to promote the network’s latest teleserye called Nagbabagang Bulaklak. She sang the theme song of the show along with Marvin Ong — great job, guys! Here’s Maffy wearing one of my designs from my Satin et Lacet collection at her Lucky Numbers guesting.
lace tops circa 2005
My Facebook and Twitter accounts have been releasing those stupid HCG / weight loss diet links and I can’t get it to stop even after changing my passwords and turning off the platform apps! But I guess the spam must be working because I think I lost weight (haha). Tested my luck this morning by trying on a couple of lace tops I made more than five years ago and I was shocked that they fit! I’m wearing the white version now with bell bottom jeans and wedges . . . it’s a hippie day for me today!
walking advertisements
Ok, so we’re not celebrities (far from it, actually) but Miko and I try to be walking ads by wearing my designs most of the time.
I’m wearing a piece from A2w and Miko is wearing one of the dresses from my Diamond Collection. Wore these to a party a couple of weeks back and I got some new clients from that event!
mad rush of the holidays
It’s been a mad rush to get everything in order, from client fittings to measurements for 2011 weddings. At only four days before Christmas, I only have a few more fittings to go then I can finally relax and enjoy the holidays!
Just wanted to share with you guys a few photos of my clients wearing my dresses this holiday season. Â To my other clients who have yet to give me pics, please do email/tag me in your beautiful photos so that I can also include them in my website.

striped A2W skirt
We’re having too much fun with our A2W orders . . . . we’ve asked Vernon to airbrush just about anything we can get our hands on, from tank tops, to shirts and now this skirt. Â I used denim for this asymmetrical skirt, the same fabric we used for the original A2W dresses.
I’m currently thinking of a design for another piece under this collection. Â Will post pics soon!
working on A2W orders
Working on new A2W orders is always fun as no two designs are the same. Â Not only do we change the fabric of the dress from time to time, we also change up the colors of the print.
Here’s a dress that Vernon worked on last night. Â I decided (of course with the approval of the client) to change the fabric and print colors for this particular order. Â My “assistant” gladly posed with the unfinished dress.
so who’s behind the funky artwork?

I’m so happy to be getting positive feedback on the new collections, especially on Art to Wear (which I call A2W for short) and people have been asking who’s the artist responsible for the great prints.
Vernon Perez, local artist extraordinaire, does not just specialize in airbrushed art. Â He also creates installation pieces, accessories and is also a DJ! Â Below are some of my favorite pieces by Vernon:
For those of you who’ve been to our house, we have several metal artwork on both sides of the walls. Â This one is called LIFE and it’s actually the same pattern on one of the dresses from our A2W collection.
bienvenue, wilkemen, irashaimasu, welcome!
My new website is finally up! Â And I’m also happy to share with you my two collections for 2010 . . . satin et lacet and Art to Wear. Â As most of my clients know, I make collections depending on my mood and what I’m currently into so having two different collections is quite exciting for me. Â The film noir (more…)
